Polar™ puts a deep round of dense faux wool exactly where your feet land: Ø 70 cm of long, springy pile, large enough to take the whole first stride, on a flexible woven base that stays flat on the floor and does not slide. At the bedside, under a reading chair or next to the bath, it makes the coldest step of the day the softest.

Pleje

Shake it out and vacuum on low with the beater bar off. Spot clean with cold water and mild soap; wash by hand if needed and dry flat in the air. Do not tumble dry, because heat mats the pile. Fluff by hand once dry.

How big is Ø 70 cm in a room?

About the width of a bedside table and a half: wide enough for both feet to land on pile when you get out of bed, without crowding the room.

Is the sheepskin real?

No. It is a high-pile artificial wool, with the deep, springy feel of sheepskin and no animal hide, and it is easier to clean.

Will it slip on hard floors?

The woven base is flexible and grips well in normal use. On highly polished floors, add a standard rug gripper pad for extra hold.

How is it washed?

Spot clean, or wash by hand in cold water with mild soap, then dry flat in the air and fluff the pile by hand. Do not tumble dry, because heat flattens faux wool.

Does the pile flatten with time?

The pile relaxes where you stand each day, and a quick shake and a fluff by hand restore it. Turning the rug now and then keeps the wear even.

Where else does it work, apart from the bedside?

Under a reading chair, in front of a dresser or vanity, next to the bath, or laid over a larger flat-weave rug as a soft island.
